...Years old!

Today is my birthday! YAY! =] Highlight of my day? Waking up and dealing with about an hour of excruciating pain before my pain medicine kicked in, and getting sick (thus becoming buddies with my toilet) in the process. Hooray!
I'm OK now, and tomorrow am (weather permitting) having a picnic with some buddies; it's an annual thing we do. Then later in the evening my family is coming over to have a little birthday shindig since my Opa and I have the same birthday.

Anyway, I contacted the first family I am staying with in Germany, and they seem lovely! I am quite excited to meet them and to experience life with them. I will be at their house for 2 weeks before moving on to another home. Anja, the lady of the house, is a really great interior decorator, it seems, and takes wonderful photos! You should check her website out: Anja Löschner's Website. It seems she and I will have a lot in common! She also mentioned in her email to me perhaps visiting Dresden and Berlin!! Then she mentioned Brandenburg, which we'd have to go through to get to Berlin anyway. I am quite ecstatic!

So, I leave in 9 days! As it turns out, we are leaving out of Philly (thank God) and not Newark. Philly is a tad closer, and I've been in that airport before so I am happy. Well, I guess that is all for now!
